Singapore-based Author's Extensive Local Knowledge Adds Credibility to Mystery Series Set in SE Asia
Shamini Flint is best known for the book series the Inspector Singh Investigates Mystery Books. Before becoming a writer and environmental activist, Flint was a lawyer, first in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, more recently with an international law firm in Singapore. She traveled extensively around Asia for her legal work and has put this local knowledge to good use in her Inspector Singh Investigates crime novels, each of which is set in a different location in Asia.
Born in Kuanta, Malaysia, Flint now lives in Singapore with her husband and two children. Shamini also writes children’s books with cultural and environmental themes.
